Products made with Chemours™ Teflon™ fluoropolymer resins have exceptional resistance to high temperatures, chemical reaction, corrosion and stress-cracking. The mechanical toughness, electrical, and low-friction properties of Teflon™ make it the preferred plastic for many applications and processing techniques.

Products

Teflon™ PTFE 6CN X

Fine powder grade used in reinforced hose (for use with steam, hydraulic fluid or reactive gas), electrical grade tape and sleeving, chemical linings and electrical or industrial products requiring extruded PTFE.

  • 9002-84-0

Teflon™ PTFE 7A X

Provides chemical inertness, excellent dielectric properties, toughness, flexibility, heat and weather resistance. Helps to minimise voids even at low moulding pressures due to its small particle size.

  • 9002-84-0

Teflon™ PTFE 807N X

Free flowing PTFE resin, provides products with chemical inertness, excellent dielectric properties, toughness, flexibility, heat and weather resistance. Yields high productivity due to high fill density, easy to process and has excellent end use properties. Designed for compression, automatic moulding and ram extrusion.

  • 9002-84-0

Teflon™ PTFE 8A X

Provides improved mould ability at lower pressure, and improved surface smoothness of finished parts. Preferred for thick sheets and isostatic moulding; ducting, piston rings, large complex mouldings.

  • 9002-84-0

Teflon™ PTFE NXT 70

Chemically modified PTFE polymer, available as a white powder. Designed for compression molding of blocks and sheets. In addition to the excellent physical properties seen in other PTFE grades, this resin offers weldability, improved resistance to deformation under load, increased resistance to permeation of chemicals, and a higher dielectric breakdown voltage.

  • 9002-84-0

Teflon™ PTFE 669N X

Polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin used primarily for paste extrusion. Offers an excellent combination of properties typical of Teflon™ fluoroplastic resins, including chemical inertness and exceptional dielectric properties.

  • 9002-84-0

Teflon™ PTFE NXT 85

Chemically modified PTFE polymer, available as white pellets. Equivalent powder resin is PTFE NXT 75. Can be converted to parts by isostatic, billet, and sheet molding methods, as well as by ram extrusion. Can be used for valve seats, fittings, pipe valve and vessel liners, among other applications.
